With academic qualifications including a BSc in Business Administration and a Master's in Islamic Banking and Finance, he is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals. His extensive career spans roles at African Prudential Insurance Company, Royal Exchange Prudential Life, Noor Takaful Ltd, and Salam Takaful Insurance Company, demonstrating his expertise in conventional and Islamic insurance practices.

Mr. Ali is a scholar and practitioner in Islamic Finance and Shari'ah Advisory. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh from OIC Islamic University, Niger Republic, and a Master of Science degree in Islamic Banking and Finance from Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Nigeria. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies (Fiqh & Usul al-Fiqh) at Yobe State University, Damaturu, Nigeria.
Mr. Ali has wealth of experience, having served as an academic staff member at Yobe State University for over a decade. Additionally, he is the co-founder and former Executive Director of IFING Media Limited.
