Foundation Certificate Course In Islamic Finance (PRO)

FCCIF Pro is a 10-week, hybrid-delivery professional certification built for finance professionals who already understand how finance works and are ready to master how Islamic finance works in practice across Nigeria's regulated market.

WHO IT IS FOR
Built for Professionals.

FCCIF Pro assumes a working knowledge of finance. The curriculum does not re-teach what a balance sheet is or how a bank functions. It starts from a professional baseline and moves immediately into the application of Islamic finance principles to real transactions, real institutions, and real regulatory situations in Nigeria.

Junior Finance Professionals

You have your degree and some years in the field. You understand conventional banking products and are ready to specialize or transition into Islamic finance with a credential that signals professional readiness, not just academic knowledge.

Enterpreneurs

You are building or scaling a business in Nigeria and recognise that Islamic finance whether sukuk, murabaha, or partnership structures opens new funding channels, expands your customer base, and aligns with the values of a growing market segment. You need to understand Islamic finance not as theory, but as a practical toolkit for structuring deals, negotiating with Islamic banks, and positioning your enterprise competitively in Nigeria's evolving financial landscape.

Career Changers from Conventional Finance

You have years of experience in conventional banking or finance. You are making a deliberate, informed move into Islamic finance and need a programme that respects your existing expertise while equipping you for the new landscape.

Corporate Nominees

Your institution is expanding or deepening its Islamic finance window. You can nominate staff to build internal capacity with a certification that carries institutional and regulatory credibility.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Practical Application Not Theory.

Every learning outcome in FCCIF Pro is framed around what you will be able to do  not just what you will know. The programme is designed so that by the end, you can operate with confidence in real Islamic finance environments: evaluating products, identifying compliance gaps, structuring transactions, and engaging regulators.

Evaluate Islamic Finance Products for Shariah Compliance

Apply AAOIFI standards and CBN regulatory requirements to assess Murabaha, Musharaka, Ijarah, and other core products and identify where a transaction may fail compliance scrutiny before it reaches a Shariah committee.

Respond to Regulatory and Shariah Committee Scrutiny

Prepare documentation, defend product structures, and communicate compliance positions to regulators and Shariah committees with the professional language and analytical framework that practitioners actually use.

Structure Transactions That Work in Nigeria's Regulatory Environment

Navigate the intersection of Shariah principles and Nigerian financial regulation. Understand how the CBN's regulatory framework for non-interest banking shapes product design, documentation, and reporting obligations.

Identify and Remediate Compliance Failures in Live Scenarios

Through the Practitioner Case Study framework, you will review real documentation, spot compliance failures, and propose corrective action exactly as a professional in that role would be expected to.
